A Special Visitor in P2/3
P2/3 had a very special visit from one of our parents, who brought their new baby in to meet our class!
The children were so excited to meet the newest little member of our school community and had lots of thoughtful questions. As part of the PDMU curriculum and learning about the human life cycle, we’ve been exploring how we grow and change. This real life visit gave us the perfect opportunity to see what a baby needs and how they are cared for. We talked about feeding, sleeping, nappy changes and how babies communicate their needs. The children learned that looking after a baby takes patience, love and responsibility.
A big thank you to our visitor for taking the time to help bring our learning to life. The children were gentle, curious and full of wonder – a memorable experience for everyone!
