This week in school we have been learning lots about what constitutes bullying type behaviours and what we can do if we experience bullying type behaviours or if we see someone else experiencing them. P4-7 took part in two online workshops with Hip Psychology which taught us lots about emotions, conflict, conflict resolution and being an ‘upstander’ and not a ‘bystander’ when it comes to bullying type behaviours.
We also hosted NSPCC at school, for in person workshops on how to keep ourselves safe. This week’s work as part of our Preventative Curriculum has been wonderful and the children have learned lots of skills.
we also had some focus groups of children who talked to staff about bullying and about their opinions on Positive Behaviour. As a school we value the Pupil Voice as the children are at the heart of everything we do.
