Barnabas Award & Pupils of The Week
27th Sep 2024
We were delighted to welcome back Alan, who came to present the Barnabas Award today to a very worthy winner. Emmett, one of our wonderful P5 children, was chosen to be the recipient of this award due to his unwavering kindness to others. He shows that he sets a wonderful example to others - by being kind, showing empathy and above all by being a wonderful ambassador for our school. Well done to you Emmett.
We would also like to congratulate all those boys and girls who were nominated by their teachers as being the pupils of the week this week. We heard about so many wonderful things happening in school this week. There were awards for Literacy and Numeracy work, for manners, for helping out and much more. We couldn't be more proud of all the children who won this week.
The P4/5 children also won Best Line - meaning they get 15 minutes extra play next week for being the best at lining up! What a week it has been at Killowen PS.
