Yesterday we bid a fond farewell to our fantastic Engage teacher and Lockdown hero Mr. Belt. He has been a Rec/P1 teacher, a Key Worker supervisor, the Engage Project leader for recovery learning, our Get Up And Go strategist and an all round champion of Killowen P.S. He quietly turned his hand to many extra jobs including reappointing the Library which became his Headquarters in recent months and was the Hub of our catch up curriculum, He has left his mark on the hearts and minds of all the pupils and is a big loss to our staff family. However we are delighted that he has secured a new full time teaching post and wish him every happiness and success in his new school. Lucky them!
