We've recently been discovering the wonderful works of Claude Monet at our after school club.
We began by looking at photographs of Monet, his beautiful garden in Giverny France, his paintings and learnt some interesting facts about his life and painting style.
We noticed that Monet liked using calming shades of blue and green to paint his famous 'Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies' painting.
We then painted our very own Monet inspired masterpieces.
