Yesterday at school was the European Day of languages. The children had lots of fun singing, researching and playing games in Irish and French as well as finding out how to say hello in lots of other languages. This is a wonderful insight into how young learners of languages are like little sponges, absorbing new communication skills with ease. At Killowen PS we pride ourselves on integrating new skills and using, in particular Irish, across the school. Maith sibh a pháistí! Super travail les enfants!
