With the risk posed by Ophelia due to our reliance on the coastal road, combined with our exposed location the management of Killowen Primary School have taken the decision to close the school tomorrow, 16.10.17.
We recommend pupils enjoy a good long read, or that our older pupils find out a little more about Ophelia by researching her...!
I would also like to encourage pupils to take the opportunity to grab a page, some colouring pencils and markers and participate in the 'My favourite book' poster competition I outlined on Thursday morning.
Mind yourselves folks!
School will reopen on Tuesday as normal.
