In reception and Primary 1 we have been learning about money this week. We studied all of the different coins by looking at their colour, size and shape. We then talk using paper notes to pay and cards also. Miss Lorna let us have a look at her card and we talked about how our parents might use these cards when buying groceries in the shop. We used playdough to make prints from our coins into the dough and also completed some coin rubbing fun activities where the print from the coins transferred through the page for us to see on top. A final table top task that we did was to use our sorting hoops to sort all of the different coins, and we really enjoy this activity.
