On Monday the P4/5 children visited Neary Nogs factory, owned by our very own Freya Neary! We have been reading Charlie and the Chocolate factory as our class novel so it really brought it to life. It was an amazing experience in which we learnt all about the chocolate making process, step foot inside a real life factory and we even got to use our senses to smell, see and taste some real life chocolate.
The children were very excited to visit this wonderful local buisness and were proud to be representing our school in the process..especially as it involved some free samples and a hot chocolate.
