A new year brings new topics and new challenges, and P2/3 are getting stuck in with our topic-based learning. During play-based or activity-based learning, we enjoy games, activities and resources that our teacher and teaching assistants have helped prepare for us, all to help us develop our language, group work and problem solving skills, and our ability to use our numeracy skills by counting, building, balancing, placing and rearranging, sorting, filling, emptying and comparing resources. - The adults help us realise what skills we are using by talking to us and -more importantly - listening to us talk about about what we are doing.
