Killowen Primary School were fortunate to be only one of six schools chosen in the whole of Newry & Mourne Down, by the District Council to participate in this amazing Sentinus Robotics workshop. Edwin lead the workshop and the children were entranced from the moment it began.
We were shown how to code an Mbot robot using coding software, which then made our Robots come to life. The children had to problem solve and figure out how to program the robot to move around the mat. This is much more difficult than they had orignially thought but everyone did an amazing job and the teachers were blown away with their fast understanding and ability to complete this tricky task.
Overall we were so grateful to have this amazing opportunity and we definitely will have some future programming professionals on our hands!
