Sometimes we choose things around the room to help us achieve our goals. Using equipment for a specific purpose is a goal in developing numeracy processes. Cool, huh?

When we use drama and role play, like in our space café, we are trying out special language that we have heard others use. This is one of our literacy goals for the year. We get a chance to try out different roles and different sets of words and terms when we change topic.

At the small world tuff spot we get to show our creativity by building whole worlds! We use mathematical language to describe place and position of objects. We use newly acquired words like rocket, asteroid, astronaut and spaceship when talking out the worlds we create.
